"You're here!" She caught herself from the thrill of it. That maybe it was true. That it wasn't some trick.

He turned around and nodded. And it pained her that he didn't say anything. Did he have any idea who she was? Really? Then he smiled, and that was all she needed. Just his embrace would do.

"Timing is everything, isn't it?" He touched her cheek then and she nodded. "I know you thought I forgot. I was meant too, you know."

"Yeah." This she knew. Tears came to her eyes. She hugged him close as he ran his warm fingers through her hair. Nothing bad could happen now. She just knew it. And when they kissed it was as if everything radiated for a moment. Vibrant colors all around. The place looked even more wonderful than she even imagine. Maybe magical. It was amazing. And it felt all the more home with Kale here. Perhaps they were in their own little world now.
