"He left," her sister told her. "In case you were wondering. Says he can't take anymore of these seizures from you." Kate smirked. "Who knows, maybe you'll stop having them if he isn't around."

Ellie smiled although she felt so sad for doing so. If only it could be another place in another time for Evan, it might be different. For all Ellie knew it might be worse.

"Where did he go?" Ellie felt a cold chill come over her. Usually she woke up in a sweat, but not this time. She was just cold. But the baby monitor bleeped a steady heartbeat. Her own was fine, as well.

"Home, I think. Where else would he go?" Kate shrugged.

Ellie didn't know what to say. How could he just leave without saying good bye?

"You know, deep down you wanted him to leave. You know, there's someone else." Kate said out of the blue.

"I didn't. Really, I want him...to be safe." Ellie was serious and her sister was laughing it off.

"When can I go home?" Ellie finally found a nurse in her room.

"We'll watch you til morning," the nurse told her. "Lets hope you go home soon." She left the room then.

Kate smirked again, "Just what sort of bad patient were you?"

"I don't know, I guess I get pretty possessed when I have these seizures," Ellie felt her teeth start to chatter as she hid down under the covers. "If I do go home tomorrow, I have one last stop on the way back," Ellie told her sister.

"Does it have anything to do with shopping?" Kate smiled.

"No, nothing about shopping." Ellie put the covers around her shoulders and neck. It was suddenly freezing in here.
