An IV in her arm. She was hooked up to heart monitors as well as the baby's heart beating. It was really true. Ther was something in side her. And she didn't even know when happened.

Ellie didn't know much of anything at the moment.

"So how long was I out?" She looked to Evan for answers now. Why did it have to be this way? Why had it gone so wrong?

"Not long, maybe almost an hour. But I don't think it was that long?" He took her hand then as she focused on the sound of the monitors surrounding her.

"I'm not sure about this." She shook her head. "What if its the baby giving me these..these dreams or whatever?"

"You're just tired. You'll be OK," he promised.

Ellie just nodded. Wishing she honestly thought so.

"You're Mom will be here in a little while." Evan just smiled.

"Are you going to California?" Ellie was certain he wouldn't be sticking around. Not now.

"No, I want to be with you." He squeezed her hand just a bit.

"Really," Ellie just felt puzzled. Nothing seemed to happen like she wanted, lately.
